Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bülent Erginay started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Sezai Dengiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Süreyya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's goal looked a bit too open when Aktaç Kadem came free, but Mehmet Şefik Süreyya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zonguldakspor's Altuğ Gayret got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes, 1863 Boğaziçi SK's Şükrü Ekin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mehmet Şefik Süreyya came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 1863 Boğaziçi SK reached it. Mehmet Şefik Süreyya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peyami Akkuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's Bülent Erginay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulaziz Yalınalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, 1863 Boğaziçi SK's Baskın Server got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Samed Paydas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's goal looked a bit too open when Sezai Dengiz came free, but Mehmet Şefik Süreyya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altuğ Gayret received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Abdulaziz Yalınalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdulaziz Yalınalp made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Torsten Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aktaç Kadem during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, 1863 Boğaziçi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet İlhan İlhanoğlu came free, but Abdulaziz Yalınalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Torsten Lindgren sped through 1863 Boğaziçi SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Abdulaziz Yalınalp. Abdulaziz Yalınalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torsten Lindgren in the 38th minute. Abdulaziz Yalınalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samed Paydas in the 39th minute of the match. Sezai Dengiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Şefik Süreyya having to interfere. After 47 played minutes 1863 Boğaziçi SK got a freekick which was hit by Baskın Server. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peyami Akkuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Abdulaziz Yalınalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bülent Erginay, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1863 Boğaziçi SK's goalkeeper Abdulaziz Yalınalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Sezai Dengiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1863 Boğaziçi SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sezai Dengiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Şefik Süreyya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdulaziz Yalınalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet İlhan İlhanoğlu in the 78th minute of play. Bülent Erginay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Bülent Erginay notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of 1863 Boğaziçi SK's Abdulaziz Yalınalp. Abdulaziz Yalınalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90thth minute of the game Bülent Erginay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1863 Boğaziçi SK's Abdulaziz Yalınalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ahmet İlhan İlhanoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zonguldakspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet İlhan İlhanoğlu couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Zonguldakspor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
