Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fikri Mengüç started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Zaid Bostan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Necdet Özyurt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Vecdi Kutunalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MeRGeN G.d.'s Ahmet Necdet Özyurt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Hakkı Onur Akçay had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uğur Nedret during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uğur Nedret kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Canakkale's Vecdi Kutunalp. But to his dismay, Vecdi Kutunalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in MeRGeN G.d.'s zone, Bedrettin Cansun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt came out of the goal and Bedrettin Cansun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vecdi Kutunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When İlmi Kırca fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MeRGeN G.d.'s protests and gave İlmi Kırca a yellow card for diving instead. 26 minutes into the match, Vecdi Kutunalp notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MeRGeN G.d.'s Ahmet Necdet Özyurt. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vecdi Kutunalp in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Necdet Özyurt saved MeRGeN G.d. from getting behind. Bedrettin Cansun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vecdi Kutunalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bedrettin Cansun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MeRGeN G.d.'s Kerimhan Erengüç suffered a concussion in the 44th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Bedrettin Cansun charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedrettin Cansun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Vecdi Kutunalp made the kick off in the second half. Fikri Mengüç hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, MeRGeN G.d.'s Güneş Samim got a free kick in the 56th minute. Vecdi Kutunalp struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ahmet Necdet Özyurt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canakkale. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MeRGeN G.d.! MeRGeN G.d.'s Ahmet Necdet Özyurt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save MeRGeN G.d. from getting a goal against them. Vecdi Kutunalp scored 1-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Necdet Özyurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Bedrettin Cansun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Canakkale booed when MeRGeN G.d. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haydar Behzat didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Vecdi Kutunalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th match minute, MeRGeN G.d. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlmi Kırca to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, MeRGeN G.d.'s goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Özyurt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vecdi Kutunalp. MeRGeN G.d.'s Ahmet Necdet Özyurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Kutunalp in the 95th minute of play. After 96 minutes, Fikri Mengüç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MeRGeN G.d. and the Canakkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Fikri Mengüç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 minutes, Emre Timurkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canakkale and the MeRGeN G.d. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emre Timurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Canakkale played a much better game than MeRGeN G.d. and deserved their victory. The MeRGeN G.d. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
