The audience was convinced that Arif Buğra Atabey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Umut Nurullah was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Lazut VB's goal looked a bit too open when Erhun Ökmener came free, but Yetkin Hızarcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eregli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arif Buğra Atabey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Necdet Akçakoca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Yetkin Hızarcı made a huge save. After 36 played minutes Eregli got a freekick which was hit by Hulki Orhan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Buğra Atabey in the 38th minute of play forced Eregli's goalkeeper Umut Nurullah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umut Nurullah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doruk Mutluhan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Umut Nurullah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Lazut VB succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Eregli had controlled the match.
