The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasim Özyuva got free with Yetkin Hızarcı in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Ertan Heper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yetkin Hızarcı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Danış Yavuzalp in the 13th minute of play. If Arif Buğra Atabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arif Buğra Atabey struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Koray Karabey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lazut VB. Yetkin Hızarcı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Danış Yavuzalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yetkin Hızarcı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasim Özyuva in the 25th minute. Yetkin Hızarcı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güney Selahaddin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Müjdat Akbora's late challenge caught a Osmangazi JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Müjdat Akbora helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Lazut VB's Yetkin Hızarcı got control of the ball when Dursun Ersavaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Osmangazi JK's Dursun Ersavaş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yetkin Hızarcı. Yetkin Hızarcı yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güney Selahaddin to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Lazut VB defense, Aktaç İrfan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yetkin Hızarcı. The Lazut VB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yetkin Hızarcı should have stopped the shot. Lazut VB's Yetkin Hızarcı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Güney Selahaddin in the 78th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Güney Selahaddin notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Lazut VB's Yetkin Hızarcı. Yetkin Hızarcı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lazut VB were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Osmangazi JK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Seyfi Sarıdoğan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Müjdat Akbora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Koray Karabey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 94 minutes of play Lazut VB's Müjdat Akbora was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes into the match, Lazut VB's goal looked a bit too open when Güney Selahaddin came free, but Yetkin Hızarcı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Osmangazi JK fully deserved thier win.
