After a defensive mix-up in Karamanli's zone, Ahmet Hayri Taşcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ayhan Piruz came out of the goal and Ahmet Hayri Taşcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Akın Yalazay made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tayyip Yalman in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayhan Piruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ayhan Piruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Hayri Taşcan's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When Akgün Özerkmen fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mamak's protests and gave Akgün Özerkmen a yellow card for diving instead. Akgün Özerkmen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Mamak's goal looked a bit too open when Akın Yalazay came free, but Boran Uluberk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Mamak's Tayyip Yalman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ayhan Piruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 85 played minutes, Mamak's Atak Ataergin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ayhan Piruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mamak reached it. Boran Uluberk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tibet Haksever in the 88th minute. In the 92nd match minute, Mamak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demiralp Tayfun to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Mamak were the better team. Mamak's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
