In the 8th minute Arda Göksel Sarpkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zühtü Ayana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zühtü Ayana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Göksel Sarpkan in the 12th minute of play. Sungurbey Gökalp kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Derviş Kırgız was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FenerBahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bakkalköy FK the free kick. In the 18th match minute, FenerBahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Kırgız to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 22 in the game by Ziya Rikap from a close distance when the talented Ulaş Adalıoğlu managed to make a qualified save. FenerBahçe's players were relieved. The supporters of FenerBahçe booed when Bakkalköy FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şaban Türk didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aras Ziyaettin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Arda Göksel Sarpkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FenerBahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arda Göksel Sarpkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arda Göksel Sarpkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arda Göksel Sarpkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zühtü Ayana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ziya Rikap fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulaş Adalıoğlu having to interfere. Ziya Rikap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ulaş Adalıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play FenerBahçe's Derviş Kırgız was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Derviş Kırgız kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ziya Rikap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulaş Adalıoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Kıvanç Suay fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FenerBahçe's protests and gave Kıvanç Suay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, one of FenerBahçe:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FenerBahçe. The referee gave Bakkalköy FK a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Volkan Kurumer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FenerBahçe's Ulaş Adalıoğlu. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
