The audience was convinced that Yenal Kanber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kadim Ekin was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the game, Mücahit Hoyrat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mücahit Hoyrat hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Orhan Veli Toköz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Egirdir's Ahmet Yahya Denizhan. Ahmet Yahya Denizhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Mousa Sow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kadim Ekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tugay Üster's late challenge caught a Egirdir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tugay Üster helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Demirözü SK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tugay Üster hit a great ball. Demirözü SK's Kadim Ekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mousa Sow in the 18th minute of play. When Tugay Üster was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. Egirdir's Mousa Sow got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Egirdir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güray Saik to maneuver through the defense. If Mousa Sow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kadim Ekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mücahit Hoyrat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demirözü SK's Kadim Ekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mousa Sow in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Mücahit Hoyrat fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kadim Ekin, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Demirözü SK booed when Egirdir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mücahit Hoyrat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Orhan Veli Toköz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Demirözü SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orhan Veli Toköz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mousa Sow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egirdir's supporters rose to their feet, but Mousa Sow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kadim Ekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orhan Veli Toköz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Yahya Denizhan having to interfere. Aykutalp Refi scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Yahya Denizhan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mousa Sow to strike the kick off in the second half. Demirözü SK's Orhan Veli Toköz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Demirözü SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özgür İmdat to maneuver through the defense. When Mücahit Hoyrat was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 61 minutes had been played. Mücahit Hoyrat kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Demirözü SK's zone, Yenal Kanber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kadim Ekin came out of the goal and Yenal Kanber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Yahya Denizhan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sinan Cerit. If Orhan Veli Toköz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Egirdir's Mousa Sow got a free kick in the 74th minute. The nice shot from Orhan Veli Toköz in the 75thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ahmet Yahya Denizhan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Sertel Murtaza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd match minute, Egirdir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güney Baykara to maneuver through the defense. Mousa Sow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadim Ekin having to interfere. Orhan Veli Toköz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Yahya Denizhan having to make a save. 98 minutes into the match, Egirdir's goalkeeper Ahmet Yahya Denizhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orhan Veli Toköz. Demirözü SK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Egirdir's much stronger midfield.
