Şadi Ülkümen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Fikret Temizsoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 17th minute, İlhami Cire fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Şadi Ülkümen, passed just outside the right post. 19 minutes into the game, Alkan Işın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
