Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Münir Ogün kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Rıza Şinasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Akgün Akkaş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Okanay Balatekin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hakkı Rakim during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 27 minutes into the match, Hatayspor's goalkeeper Özalp Pekiner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güner Şimşektürk. After having played for 28 minutes, Okanay Balatekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatayspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Okanay Balatekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ercis FK's Ertuğrul Keykavus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rıza Şinasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute of the match, Rıza Şinasi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Özalp Pekiner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 48 minutes into the match, Rıza Şinasi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Özalp Pekiner, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rıza Şinasi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Akgün Akkaş made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Okanay Balatekin sent off a good shot on target. When Okanay Balatekin came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Hatayspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okanay Balatekin couldn't finish the play. Güner Şimşektürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Özalp Pekiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özalp Pekiner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rıza Şinasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Münir Ogün in the 72nd minute of play forced Ercis FK's goalkeeper Akgün Akkaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güner Şimşektürk in the 74th minute of play forced Hatayspor's goalkeeper Özalp Pekiner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76thth minute of the game Güner Şimşektürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hatayspor's Özalp Pekiner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Okanay Balatekin could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Akgün Akkaş however easily saved by the left post. Özalp Pekiner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rıza Şinasi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Veysel Sebat charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Veysel Sebat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hatayspor booed when Ercis FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veysel Sebat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Okanay Balatekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Güner Şimşektürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Özalp Pekiner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
