Gencalp Secavend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ali Akkurt, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Gölova SK's Ercan Sözen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gürhan Cesur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 9th minute of the match Vacid Temizkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürhan Cesur skillfully saved the ball. Yusuf Talayman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gencalp Secavend read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Gencalp Secavend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Talayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercan Sözen in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürhan Cesur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gürhan Cesur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercan Sözen in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Elbistan JK's Asaf Bera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gencalp Secavend narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yusuf Talayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Secavend having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gölova SK's goalkeeper Gencalp Secavend, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gürhan Cesur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercan Sözen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute, Hüseyin Turan Tanfer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uğurcan Taşkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürhan Cesur having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Uğurcan Taşkan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gölova SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 40 played minutes Elbistan JK got a freekick which was hit by Hamit Refah. In the 45th minute Ercan Sözen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürhan Cesur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencalp Secavend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Talayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ercan Sözen made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Uğurcan Taşkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürhan Cesur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Elbistan JK's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Sözen came free, but Gürhan Cesur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gölova SK booed when Elbistan JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ali Akkurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uğurcan Taşkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asaf Bera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencalp Secavend having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Asaf Bera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elbistan JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asaf Bera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uğurcan Taşkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes Elbistan JK got a freekick which was hit by Alperen Mansız. In the 86th minute, one of Elbistan JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Elbistan JK. Gürhan Cesur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercan Sözen in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercan Sözen in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 95th minute Uğurcan Taşkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürhan Cesur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Elbistan JK defense, Ercan Sözen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürhan Cesur. The Elbistan JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürhan Cesur should have stopped the shot. Gölova SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
