Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Özkan Uçanok started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Hacı Bilgehan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Selim Tokur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gencalp Secavend made a huge save. Yavuz Selim Tokur scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gencalp Secavend, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ercan Sözen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Gölova SK's Gencalp Secavend got control of the ball when Özkan Uçanok tried to sneak it across the goal line. Uğurcan Taşkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Metehan Türk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Gölova SK got a freekick which was hit by Resul Akoğul. Uğurcan Taşkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Metehan Türk having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Gölova SK's Resul Akoğul got a free kick in the 30th minute. Metehan Türk came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Gölova SK's Uğurcan Taşkan. But to his dismay, Uğurcan Taşkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hacı Bilgehan's late challenge caught a Gölova SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hacı Bilgehan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gölova SK booed when Fikirtepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hacı Bilgehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vacid Temizkan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Metehan Türk. Fikirtepe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ercan Sözen to make the kick off. When Boğaçhan Vaha fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fikirtepe's protests and gave Boğaçhan Vaha a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Fikirtepe got a freekick which was hit by Boğaçhan Vaha. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özkan Uçanok in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gencalp Secavend prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Özkan Uçanok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fikirtepe's Yavuz Selim Tokur got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Gölova SK got a freekick which was hit by Necip Fazıl Baydar. If Ercan Sözen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gölova SK's Gencalp Secavend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan Uçanok in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Gölova SK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Necip Fazıl Baydar hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes, Fikirtepe's Gökçen Canay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gencalp Secavend came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fikirtepe reached it. In the 91st minute, Yavuz Selim Tokur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gencalp Secavend was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Necip Fazıl Baydar hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Fikirtepe's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
