If Cavit Hünkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Recep Neyzen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sahinbey FK's Baki Yaman. Baki Yaman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Mustafa Birol User had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arslan Akoğul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cumali Üstünbay in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Maltepespor booed when Sahinbey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reşat Hatemoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cavit Hünkar made a kick off. In the 56th match minute, Sahinbey FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Hamza Tüzeman to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th play minute Recep Neyzen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baki Yaman. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Maltepespor's zone, Cumali Üstünbay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arslan Akoğul came out of the goal and Cumali Üstünbay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sahinbey FK's Baki Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cavit Hünkar in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Recep Neyzen got free with Baki Yaman in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Sahinbey FK's zone, Cavit Hünkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baki Yaman came out of the goal and Cavit Hünkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baki Yaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cavit Hünkar, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Maltepespor's Recep Neyzen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cavit Hünkar struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Baki Yaman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltepespor. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Maltepespor had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
