Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ertan Derem made the kick off and thus started the match. Hadi Eke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Akbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 10th minute, Ertan Derem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hadi Eke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yağız Tükel in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, I Y I's goal looked a bit too open when Halil Revis came free, but Alp Uludoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, SİVASSPOR's Ertan Derem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alp Uludoğan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, SİVASSPOR's Halil Revis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alp Uludoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ediz Yurdaşen's late challenge caught a SİVASSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ediz Yurdaşen helped the player get up and apologised. Ediz Yurdaşen kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Faik Uzlet made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ali Nabi Tuğsan immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hızır Eğilmez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SİVASSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Hızır Eğilmez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alp Uludoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in I Y I's zone, Halil Revis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alp Uludoğan came out of the goal and Halil Revis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SİVASSPOR getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ali Erdem Biçim hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, I Y I's Ediz Yurdaşen got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sergen Haktanır managed to get in a good position for a shot. SİVASSPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergen Haktanır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alp Uludoğan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yağız Tükel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SİVASSPOR booed when I Y I was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yağız Tükel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yağız Tükel to strike the kick off in the second half. Hadi Eke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hidayet Tanırcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ertan Derem was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. SİVASSPOR's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alp Uludoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergen Haktanır in the 56th minute of play. Ertan Derem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in I Y I's zone, Ertan Derem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alp Uludoğan came out of the goal and Ertan Derem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SİVASSPOR's Hadi Eke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağız Tükel in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by SİVASSPOR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ediz Yurdaşen was slow to take the kick. During this time I Y I's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to I Y I's Hidayet Tanırcan getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Ertan Derem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SİVASSPOR's Hızır Eğilmez was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ertan Derem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 90 minutes, Halil Revis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SİVASSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Halil Revis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ertan Derem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alp Uludoğan having to interfere. Sergen Haktanır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SİVASSPOR played a much better game than I Y I and deserved their victory. The I Y I players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
