An unexpectedly hard shot by Hulki Şemsifer in the 88th minute of play forced Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Hüseyin Rahmi Kargin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Güven Kudsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abayhan Nadir having to interfere.
