Umut Çoğan made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when İsrafil Aydınoğlu sent off a good shot on target. Umut Çoğan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hazar Okkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Fethiye got a freekick which was hit by Rahmi Arısoy. Fethiye's Atak Muharrem got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hazar Okkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fethiye's Umut Çoğan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hazar Okkan in the 28th minute of play. Serhat Arıtan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aktuğ Boysan's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Mutkispor defense, Aktuğ Boysan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serhat Arıtan. The Mutkispor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serhat Arıtan should have stopped the shot. Umut Çoğan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hazar Okkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 77th minute, Fethiye's Sümer Okyar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sümer Okyar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fethiye protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sümer Okyar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 77 minutes into the game, one of Fethiye:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
