Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Seyhan Kayrabay kicked off to start the match. Muhsin Batı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SARSELONA booed when Balikesir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulaziz Tefhim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Balikesir's Abdulaziz Tefhim got a free kick in the 10th minute. SARSELONA's Mehmet Efe Tekrim couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Balikesir. If Aybek Tunçhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genco Reşat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aybek Tunçhan in the 20th minute of the match. If Seyhan Kayrabay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Halit Şemseddin in the 29th minute of play forced Balikesir's goalkeeper Enes Sergen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Refik Halit Şemseddin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enes Sergen was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 33rd minute, Aybek Tunçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to SARSELONA getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Mehmet Efe Tekrim hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Aybek Tunçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balikesir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aybek Tunçhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Aybek Tunçhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, SARSELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Aybek Tunçhan came free, but Genco Reşat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Seyhan Kayrabay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genco Reşat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Nedim Zihni might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enes Sergen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Nedim Zihni ran back to his position shaking his head. After 46 minutes, Emrah Cesman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balikesir and the SARSELONA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emrah Cesman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Refik Halit Şemseddin made the kick off in the second half. Aybek Tunçhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genco Reşat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Ahmet Nedim Zihni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genco Reşat made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Aybek Tunçhan sent off a good shot on target. Cabbar Özgurel's late challenge caught a Balikesir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cabbar Özgurel helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes SARSELONA got a freekick which was hit by Cabbar Özgurel. After having played for 64 minutes, Abdulaziz Tefhim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balikesir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulaziz Tefhim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Seyhan Kayrabay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Genco Reşat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Balikesir got a freekick which was hit by Göktuğ Koçak. Aybek Tunçhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aybek Tunçhan struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Genco Reşat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balikesir. SARSELONA's Genco Reşat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seyhan Kayrabay in the 86th minute of play. If Refik Halit Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes into the game, Balikesir's Aybek Tunçhan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genco Reşat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 94th minute, Ahmet Nedim Zihni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Balikesir's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
