After a defensive mix-up in SamSunSpor's zone, Baha Yaşanur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Kayra came out of the goal and Baha Yaşanur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Onur Ege received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gencay İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SamSunSpor getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Berkan Erçivan hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in SamSunSpor's zone, Baha Yaşanur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Kayra came out of the goal and Baha Yaşanur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kattegat FC's Baha Yaşanur got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30thth minute of the game Baha Yaşanur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SamSunSpor's Gürol Kayra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SamSunSpor's Gürol Kayra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baha Yaşanur in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, SamSunSpor's Armağan Sezginay got a free kick in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baha Yaşanur in the 33rd minute of play forced SamSunSpor's goalkeeper Gürol Kayra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SamSunSpor's Gürol Kayra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emran Özger in the 35th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kattegat FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Gürol Kayra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emran Özger, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, SamSunSpor's Kılıçalp Urluk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emran Özger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, SamSunSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mecnun Tacal to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes SamSunSpor got a freekick which was hit by Armağan Sezginay. After recieving a nice pass, Kattegat FC's Denizhan Benli tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baha Yaşanur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gencay İdrisoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onur Ege, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kılıçalp Urluk in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gencay İdrisoğlu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Kattegat FC got a freekick which was hit by Latif Tulunay. When SamSunSpor's Kılıçalp Urluk in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kattegat FC's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the game, Nusret Nafiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kattegat FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SamSunSpor the free kick. Onur Ege sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Løth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Kayra having to interfere. After 75 played minutes SamSunSpor got a freekick which was hit by Olgun Sahat. If Baha Yaşanur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, SamSunSpor's Onur Ege nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gencay İdrisoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, SamSunSpor's Ataol Erez got a free kick in the 86th minute. Emran Özger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Kayra having to interfere. Armağan Sezginay kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
