Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muhammet Şehzade started the match with the kick off. Felix Nisporeanu scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gürol Kayra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mansur Turay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürol Kayra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammet Şehzade in the 9th minute. Armağan Sezginay took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aybars Tetiker. Aybars Tetiker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Aybars Tetiker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armağan Sezginay in the 13th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Muhammet Şehzade in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gürol Kayra saved SamSunSpor from getting behind. In the 20thth minute of the game Muhammet Şehzade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SamSunSpor's Gürol Kayra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Muhammet Şehzade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armağan Sezginay charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armağan Sezginay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Muhammet Şehzade in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürol Kayra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trabzonlu Gençler's Muhammet Şehzade got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armağan Sezginay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aybars Tetiker having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Trabzonlu Gençler's goal looked a bit too open when Berkan Erçivan came free, but Aybars Tetiker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trabzonlu Gençler's Felix Nisporeanu got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38thth minute of the game Muhammet Şehzade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SamSunSpor's Gürol Kayra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Željko Kojović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trabzonlu Gençler's supporters rose to their feet, but Željko Kojović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gürol Kayra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Muhammet Şehzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Kayra having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SamSunSpor's zone, Muhammet Şehzade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Kayra came out of the goal and Muhammet Şehzade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erkan Bilgetay charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erkan Bilgetay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes SamSunSpor got a freekick which was hit by Erkan Bilgetay.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onur Ege stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, SamSunSpor's Mecnun Tacal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Muhammet Şehzade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Kayra having to interfere. After some careless play in the SamSunSpor defense, Željko Kojović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürol Kayra. The SamSunSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürol Kayra should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Ege in the 69th minute of play forced Trabzonlu Gençler's goalkeeper Aybars Tetiker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Muhammet Şehzade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gürol Kayra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Muhammet Şehzade came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Trabzonlu Gençler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhammet Şehzade couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SamSunSpor's zone, Željko Kojović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Kayra came out of the goal and Željko Kojović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute Muhammet Şehzade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürol Kayra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muhammet Şehzade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Željko Kojović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürol Kayra having to interfere. Trabzonlu Gençler were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
