Refik Akdemirci made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ambrosio Celipe however managed to control. Mümtaz Atik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Mendez in the 33rd minute of play. Ambrosio Celipe struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in KYKSPOR's zone, Cüneyt Emrettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tacettin Yalçıner came out of the goal and Cüneyt Emrettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Lütfü Tümcan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mümtaz Atik, passed just outside the right post. BABAVANGA's Cüneyt Emrettin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mümtaz Atik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
