The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reşat Akdoğu in the 7th minute of play forced Kekova's goalkeeper Abdurrahman Akarslan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hani fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Alim Azimoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Ziya Harmandalı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Aydın Ceberut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydın Ceberut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdurrahman Akarslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aydın Ceberut in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Hani's goalkeeper Ahmet Ziya Harmandalı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Coşkun Keşif. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hani's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vacib Renan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kekova's players had a chance to rest. If Aydın Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. In the 85th minute, Coşkun Keşif got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hani's Ahmet Ziya Harmandalı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Azimoğlu in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hani's zone, Coşkun Keşif stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Ziya Harmandalı came out of the goal and Coşkun Keşif tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hani's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
