Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Poyraz Işınbay kicked off to start the match. Galatasaray's Hüsnü Özonder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gafur Tuğaltay in the 4th minute of play. Hüsnü Özonder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Süleyman Baysoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Orkun Çırağ made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Acar Sait sent off a good shot on target. When Abdi Acartürk fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Abdi Acartürk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Abdi Acartürk got a free kick in the 12th minute. BEŞİKTEPE's Abidin Karadeniz couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Galatasaray. In the 14th minute Ali Emir İltemur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüsnü Özonder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsnü Özonder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süleyman Baysoy in the 16th minute of the match. Güral Özver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orkun Çırağ having to interfere. Hüsnü Özonder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Süleyman Baysoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galatasaray's Hüsnü Özonder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süleyman Baysoy in the 29th minute of play. Haşim Bucak kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Süleyman Baysoy in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsnü Özonder saved Galatasaray from getting behind. If Güral Özver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 54thth minute of the game Poyraz Işınbay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTEPE's Orkun Çırağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gafur Tuğaltay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Hüsnü Özonder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Orkun Çırağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acar Sait, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orkun Çırağ came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Poyraz Işınbay. But to his dismay, Poyraz Işınbay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Acar Sait put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Orkun Çırağ. After 69 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Can Asutay. Gafur Tuğaltay kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. BEŞİKTEPE's Orkun Çırağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acar Sait in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in BEŞİKTEPE's zone, Acar Sait stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orkun Çırağ came out of the goal and Acar Sait tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88thth minute of the game Acar Sait who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTEPE's Orkun Çırağ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Gafur Tuğaltay took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hüsnü Özonder to make any attempt to save it. Galatasaray's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
