Hüseyin Can Tuncel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasan Nazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute of the match Hasan Ali Yıldıray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hüseyin Can Tuncel skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Bartınspor booed when Sultanhisar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afşar Niyazi didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Şükrü Candaner managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Bartınspor's Ahmet Arif Vefa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 36th minute Atacan Öztuna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Can Tuncel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sultanhisar's Şükrü Candaner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Sultanhisar from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Arif Vefa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atacan Öztuna made a kick off. Ahmet Arif Vefa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şükrü Candaner having to interfere. After having played for 54 minutes, Ahmet Arif Vefa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bartınspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Arif Vefa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Sultanhisar's Afşar Niyazi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hasan Nazil got free with Hüseyin Can Tuncel in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özer Demirsah kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Sultanhisar's Fazlı İmran shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hüseyin Can Tuncel but with some difficulty. In the 72nd match minute, Sultanhisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşar Niyazi to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Nazil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Sultanhisar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hasan Nazil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Hüseyin Can Tuncel made a huge save. Hasan Nazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hüseyin Can Tuncel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hasan Nazil in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
