The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ali Cafer İrgun struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Adnan Özpinar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BUCASPOR-MARTİN. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baykal Tura in the 16th minute of play forced BUCASPOR-MARTİN's goalkeeper Vahdet Özercan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vahdet Özercan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baykal Tura in the 18th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muhammet Tuğsav during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ali Cafer İrgun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Ali Cafer İrgun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Ali Cafer İrgun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Adnan Özpinar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 86 minutes, Ali Cafer İrgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BUCASPOR-MARTİN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cafer İrgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kılıçhan Tansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Adnan Özpinar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mehmet Çağrı Onal fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BUCASPOR-MARTİN's protests and gave Mehmet Çağrı Onal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of BUCASPOR-MARTİN:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ottoman Empire:s goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
