Cafer İlteber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nadir Başkara, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute, Gaffar İnanç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arın Ferhat Aktaşoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Hami Kutlualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çağdaş Türev was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Tirebolu booed when Gökceyazi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cengiz Ozanalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekber Kunter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafer İlteber having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Nadir Başkara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Cafer İlteber was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ekber Kunter took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafer İlteber. Cafer İlteber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
