Icerenköy JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vatan Paşa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mustafa Haydar Maruf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vatan Paşa struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Mustafa Haydar Maruf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Icerenköy JK. Abdurrahman Tümerkan's late challenge caught a Icerenköy JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdurrahman Tümerkan helped the player get up and apologised. Abdurrahman Tümerkan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Vatan Paşa might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Haydar Maruf. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vatan Paşa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute, Boztepe FK's Ümit Koçarslan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yakup Hisar to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Icerenköy JK's Vatan Paşa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boztepe FK's Mustafa Haydar Maruf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yakup Hisar in the 59th minute of play.
