Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oğuzhan Kaptan started the match with the kick off. Karhan Şensoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Necati Taşkın having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, Halkali's Karhan Şensoy made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mustafa Necati Taşkın was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mustafa Necati Taşkın took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzhan Kaptan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Kale SK's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzhan Kaptan came free, but Mustafa Necati Taşkın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilla Bumin Tengiroğlu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 29 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mustafa Necati Taşkın right hand side. If Garip Sebuktekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eşref Derviş succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 32nd playminute. Halkali's Oğuzhan Kaptan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Halkali were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garip Sebuktekin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Egemen Ahıska was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kale SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Halkali the free kick. 54 minutes into the match, Kale SK's goalkeeper Mustafa Necati Taşkın had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karhan Şensoy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzhan Kaptan in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Necati Taşkın saved Kale SK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Garip Sebuktekin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Çelikan Işılay was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute Garip Sebuktekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelikan Işılay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Halkali's Edip Kayrabay got a free kick in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Halkali's Karhan Şensoy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Necati Taşkın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 72nd match minute, Kale SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlhami Yalavaç to maneuver through the defense. Halkali's Çelikan Işılay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eşref Derviş in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garip Sebuktekin in the 80th minute of play forced Halkali's goalkeeper Çelikan Işılay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Kale SK's Eşref Derviş sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Çelikan Işılay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oğuzhan Kaptan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes Kale SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Atilla Bumin Tengiroğlu who took care of the corner kick. Karhan Şensoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Halkali could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kale SK throughout the match.
