Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alim Pınarbaşı got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Borcka FK's Batıkan Sökmensu got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Binali Kuntay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rıfkı Kuvvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıfkı Kuvvet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Binali Kuntay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Çağrı Akil made a precise shot to the right of Binali Kuntay. Borcka FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 38th match minute, Gayrettepe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serdar Baroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Alim Pınarbaşı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Musa Şems tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Rıfkı Kuvvet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Binali Kuntay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çağrı Akil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gayrettepe's Rıfkı Kuvvet got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Çağrı Akil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Binali Kuntay having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Ahmet Rıfat Erseç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borcka FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 69th match minute, Borcka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tayyar Ünverdi to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Borcka FK got a freekick which was hit by Musa Özan. The supporters of Borcka FK booed when Gayrettepe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alp Şehzat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Gayrettepe's Hasan Hüseyin İmruz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Binali Kuntay. Binali Kuntay yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Rıfkı Kuvvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Borcka FK's goal looked a bit too open when Çağrı Akil came free, but Binali Kuntay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Borcka FK's zone, Çağrı Akil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Binali Kuntay came out of the goal and Çağrı Akil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th match minute, Borcka FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hüsmen Kamil to maneuver through the defense. Batıkan Sökmensu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Gayrettepe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
