Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Afşar Keremşah got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Feridun Yurdaşen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merinos FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK's Afşar Keremşah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cenan Tunçkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feridun Yurdaşen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Erdem Tüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Merinos FK's goalkeeper Cenan Tunçkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, one of Merinos FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merinos FK. In the 24th minute, NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK got a penalty, and Günalp Temizhan placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Erdem Tüzün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkay Cihannur in the 33rd minute of play. After 37 minutes, Berkay Cihannur made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK's Erdem Tüzün tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Berkay Cihannur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Erdem Tüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Berkay Cihannur came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Merinos FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkay Cihannur couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feridun Yurdaşen to make the kick off. Merih Hataylı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cenan Tunçkan having to interfere. A collision led to NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bedri Çakır hit a great ball. Feridun Yurdaşen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Erdem Tüzün tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Afşar Keremşah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cenan Tunçkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Merih Hataylı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK's goalkeeper Erdem Tüzün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berkay Cihannur. Bedih Talay's late challenge caught a Merinos FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bedih Talay helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Talay. Arif Memduh Sebat's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erdem Tüzün firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 79th minute, Merinos FK's Feridun Yurdaşen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After 83 played minutes Merinos FK got a freekick which was hit by Feridun Yurdaşen. Cenan Tunçkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Merih Hataylı, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. NEVŞEHİR ACIGÖL SK's Erdem Tüzün played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feridun Yurdaşen in the 87th minute of play. Cenan Tunçkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşar Keremşah in the 95th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Ataol Kumuk put in a rough tackle. 97 minutes into the game, one of Merinos FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Merinos FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
