The supporters of Bostanli booed when Tercan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yusuf Ziya Ilıcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tercan's Mehmet Arif Atlıhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Tercan from getting a goal against them. Yusuf Ziya Ilıcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şemsettin Gürgen having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Bostanli's goal looked a bit too open when Süleyman Sarduç came free, but Şemsettin Gürgen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Ziya Ilıcan in the 21st minute of play forced Bostanli's goalkeeper Şemsettin Gürgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
