The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. İsmail Orhun Yalınç kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Felahiye FK were furious when Mazhar Babaoğlu was red carded, 14 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Felahiye FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! After 30 played minutes, Yahsihan SK's Atacan Erten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yetkin Özdemir came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yahsihan SK reached it. Yetkin Özdemir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paşa Pekşen in the 35th minute. If Ekber İmdat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuratay Savtuna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekber İmdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ekber İmdat was the one to do the kick off. Ekber İmdat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felahiye FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Ekrem Özkar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atay Akdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
