After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Halis Erşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahmet Koralp Nusret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Koralp Nusret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin in the 20th minute of play. Tünel's Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Olcay Orkun Özyay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aytuğ Toydemir, 1-0. A collision led to Tünel getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nazım Tunçsoy hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Tünel got a freekick which was hit by Kadri Cesur. With his leg Aytuğ Toydemir managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when karatop FK's Mehmet Hakkı Tüzmen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ahmet Koralp Nusret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Halis Erşahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Tünel's Halis Erşahin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Koralp Nusret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olcay Orkun Özyay to strike the kick off in the second half. Olcay Orkun Özyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aytuğ Toydemir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Hakkı Tüzmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Korkut Sahadettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Koralp Nusret was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Aytuğ Toydemir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olcay Orkun Özyay in the 85th minute of the match.
