Seyhan:s Giray Akbora showed great skill when he stopped Akgün Şafak:s penalty. Giray Akbora was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alperen Yücelen. Sertaç Ergüder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faik Özkutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Faik Özkutay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faik Özkutay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Giray Akbora when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Sertaç Ergüder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faik Özkutay came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Giray Akbora could save by the left post. After having played for 47 minutes, Sertaç Ergüder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akköy FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sertaç Ergüder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Faik Özkutay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giray Akbora having to interfere. Giray Akbora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faik Özkutay in the 60th minute of play. Bilge Sabih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökçek Gümüşcü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Seyhan's corner Ahmet Yahya Şükrü fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bilge Sabih quite easily take care of the ball. Seyhan's Giray Akbora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faik Özkutay in the 90th minute of play. Giray Akbora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sertaç Ergüder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Akköy FK had played much better football throughout.
