After some careless play in the FENERBAHÇE defense, Anıl Ozan Akoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Hasan Sanay. The FENERBAHÇE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Hasan Sanay should have stopped the shot. Tayyip Türünk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Asım Sidam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ahmet Turan Kurhan fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FENERBAHÇE's protests and gave Ahmet Turan Kurhan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Turan Kurhan to maneuver through the defense. If Atay Yerhum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atay Yerhum made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Gafur Torehan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gökcebey JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FENERBAHÇE the free kick. Gafur Torehan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ahmet Seyfi Salman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atay Yerhum in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, FENERBAHÇE's Atay Yerhum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Seyfi Salman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gökcebey JK's Gafur Keçecioğlu suffered a sore thigh after 67 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 67 minutes, Atay Yerhum mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FENERBAHÇE and the Gökcebey JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Atay Yerhum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Atay Yerhum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Seyfi Salman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute Ahmet Turan Kurhan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. A collision led to Gökcebey JK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Batuğ Yordam hit a great ball. Ahmet Hasan Sanay made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Asım Sidam sent off a good shot on target. Tayyip Türünk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ahmet Seyfi Salman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asım Sidam scored 4-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Hasan Sanay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asım Sidam got free with Ahmet Hasan Sanay in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute, Asım Sidam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asım Sidam got free with Ahmet Hasan Sanay in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Asım Sidam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Ahmet Hasan Sanay made a huge save. Ahmet Seyfi Salman came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by FENERBAHÇE's Tayyip Türünk. But to his dismay, Tayyip Türünk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FENERBAHÇE had won after a very even match.
