Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erdal Ağaoğlu started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Refik Halit Şahoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, GÖKÇESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Erdal Ağaoğlu came free, but Taci Kazım reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Erdal Ağaoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taci Kazım saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GÖKÇESPOR's Taci Kazım played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilgehan Özgiray in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, GÖKÇESPOR's Taci Kazım got control of the ball when Cemalettin Zaik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cemalettin Zaik charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cemalettin Zaik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Birecik JK got a freekick which was hit by Cemalettin Zaik. In the 22nd minute, Resulhan Cebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Abdurrahim Yaltır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birecik JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdurrahim Yaltır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erdal Ağaoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Taci Kazım tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Taci Kazım took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgehan Özgiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Birecik JK booed when GÖKÇESPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Resulhan Cebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bilgehan Özgiray got free with Taci Kazım in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The excitement rose when GÖKÇESPOR's Resulhan Cebe after 42 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Birecik JK's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-1. The Birecik JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. GÖKÇESPOR were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Bedir Öktürk made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Resulhan Cebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erdal Ağaoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erdal Ağaoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Taci Kazım having to interfere. Taci Kazım showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdurrahim Yaltır in the 66th minute of the match. Resulhan Cebe's late challenge caught a Birecik JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Resulhan Cebe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, GÖKÇESPOR's Resulhan Cebe got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Bedir Öktürk fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÖKÇESPOR's protests and gave Bedir Öktürk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, GÖKÇESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bedir Öktürk to maneuver through the defense. When Abdurrahim Yaltır came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Birecik JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abdurrahim Yaltır couldn't finish the play. The tension between the GÖKÇESPOR and the Birecik JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 85 minutes into the match, Birecik JK's Rüştü Demirhan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 87 minutes of play, Birecik JK's Bilgehan Özgiray made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Taci Kazım was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Erdal Ağaoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Birecik JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
