Azim Erozan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Gulabi having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Alaca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güney Sayılgan to maneuver through the defense. Akay Heybetli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardahan Kutam having to interfere. When Erol Kapsam fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alaca's protests and gave Erol Kapsam a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Alaca getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Erol Kapsam hit a great ball. Ardahan Kutam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşmet Malgır in the 17th minute of the match. Ardahan Kutam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşmet Malgır in the 19th minute of play. Alaca's Ardahan Kutam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Malgır in the 22nd minute of play. When Güney Sayılgan came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Alaca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güney Sayılgan couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Niyazi Öztay during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alaca booed when EmreBey FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niyazi Öztay didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Akay Heybetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. EmreBey FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Akay Heybetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardahan Kutam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paşa Gulabi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azim Erozan in the 34th minute of play. Güney Sayılgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Paşa Gulabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EmreBey FK's Haşmet Malgır got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erol Kapsam got free with Paşa Gulabi in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ardahan Kutam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akay Heybetli in the 46th minute of play. EmreBey FK's Niyazi Öztay got his second yellow card of the match in the 47th minute. The referee ordered Niyazi Öztay off the ground. After 48 played minutes EmreBey FK got a freekick which was hit by Niyazi Öztay. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Ardahan Kutam acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 57th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ayhan Tezkan. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Haşmet Malgır managed to get in a good position for a shot. EmreBey FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Haşmet Malgır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ardahan Kutam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Haşmet Malgır got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alaca's Ardahan Kutam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Alaca from getting a goal against them. Haşmet Malgır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ardahan Kutam having to interfere. Hakkı Kenan Baysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Güney Sayılgan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ayhan Tezkan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alaca's Ardahan Kutam didn't even have to move. Haşmet Malgır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ardahan Kutam made a huge save. Azim Erozan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haşmet Malgır received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ardahan Kutam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Haşmet Malgır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haşmet Malgır could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ardahan Kutam made a huge save. If Azim Erozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
