Hasan Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Suat, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Okan Suat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Taygar in the 13th minute of play forced KertenKelebek's goalkeeper Hasan Koral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Okan Suat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turgut Saik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the game, Fevzi Onbulak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KertenKelebek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tufanbeyli the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of KertenKelebek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tufanbeyli:s goal. The referee gave Tufanbeyli a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Şafak İlkay, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KertenKelebek's Hasan Koral. 1-0. Turgut Saik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ertunç Hekimbaşı struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Hasan Koral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tufanbeyli. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burhan Benlioğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Burhan Benlioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Turan Tunçöven having to interfere. Hasan Koral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertunç Hekimbaşı in the 58th minute of play. Özgür İlker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hasan Koral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Hasan Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Suat, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. With a little luck, Tufanbeyli's Ahmet Turan Tunçöven got control of the ball when Burhan Benlioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tufanbeyli's goalkeeper Ahmet Turan Tunçöven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tufanbeyli defense, Turgut Saik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Turan Tunçöven. The Tufanbeyli fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Turan Tunçöven should have stopped the shot. Burhan Benlioğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Turan Tunçöven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Burhan Benlioğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Turgut Saik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Turan Tunçöven having to make a save. Turgut Saik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Burhan Benlioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the game, Turgut Saik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2.
