Konyaspor JK's Batu Yabgu got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Çağan Tur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oğuzcan Sanal. Konyaspor JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çağan Tur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arif Burak Ünalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Başar Bilgiç in the 26th minute of the match. With 32 minutes on the clock, Gökçe Hallaçoğlu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Avni Dokuzer hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Çağan Tur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzcan Sanal having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batu Yabgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Muammer Balıkçıoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NecoJK's protests and gave Muammer Balıkçıoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Muammer Balıkçıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Aybek Aksel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batu Yabgu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Burak Ünalp having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybek Aksel in the 74th minute of play forced NecoJK's goalkeeper Arif Burak Ünalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Konyaspor JK's Mazhar Huzur got a free kick in the 76th minute. Arif Burak Ünalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Başar Bilgiç in the 80th minute of the match. When Çağan Tur came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the NecoJK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağan Tur couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Konyaspor JK got a freekick which was hit by Başar Bilgiç. Batu Yabgu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arif Burak Ünalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
