The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sermet Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Efekan Eyüp came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Divrigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efekan Eyüp couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Divrigi's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Nesip came free, but Ahmet Haşim Kartay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Divrigi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Sermet Nesip scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Haşim Kartay, making the score, 1-0. If Efekan Eyüp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Divrigi's goal looked a bit too open when Sermet Nesip came free, but Ahmet Haşim Kartay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dikilitas SK's Sermet Nesip in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Dikilitas SK defense, Efekan Eyüp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Semih Temizalp. The Dikilitas SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Semih Temizalp should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sermet Nesip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dikilitas SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sermet Nesip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Haşim Kartay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efekan Eyüp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dikilitas SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gazi Zülfikar hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Savaş Keşif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sermet Nesip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Haşim Kartay having to interfere. When Ali Macit Veysel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Divrigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Macit Veysel couldn't finish the play. If Sermet Nesip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Divrigi booed when Dikilitas SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfettin Tacik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Dikilitas SK's Güner Bakırcı got a free kick in the 94th minute. Dikilitas SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Divrigi had controlled the match.
