In the 6th minute Orhun Başesgi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kutluay Dolunay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Varol Kutlug sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cagaloglu JK's Kutluay Dolunay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cagaloglu JK from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Orhun Başesgi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kutluay Dolunay, 1-0. 16 minutes into the game, Menderes Namdar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hasan Can Sadri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İstemihan Dilsuz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan Can Sadri saved Agri FK from getting behind. Orhun Başesgi might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kutluay Dolunay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orhun Başesgi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Agri FK's Orhun Başesgi in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cagaloglu JK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 32ndth minute of the game Orhun Başesgi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cagaloglu JK's Kutluay Dolunay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Varol Kutlug fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kutluay Dolunay having to interfere. In the 40th minute of the match, Tolunay Yaybüke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kutluay Dolunay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 45th minute of the match Ertaç Bahçeli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kutluay Dolunay skillfully saved the ball. Fatih İlbeyi kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Kutluay Dolunay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orhun Başesgi in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Hasan Can Sadri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Menderes Namdar, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. İstemihan Dilsuz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hasan Can Sadri having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Ertaç Bahçeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Cagaloglu JK were awarded a corner. Mümtazer İsmail went to the cornerflag to take it. Mümtazer İsmail made a great header on Cagaloglu JK's corner, it was just that Agri FK's Hasan Can Sadri managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Agri FK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Orhun Başesgi hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when İstemihan Dilsuz got free with Hasan Can Sadri in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Varol Kutlug came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Agri FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Varol Kutlug couldn't finish the play. If Berkant Ataner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Varol Kutlug got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
