Kubilay Doğangün fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göktuğ Kutsel having to interfere. Yüce Umurbay charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yüce Umurbay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Raşit Kılıçer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göktuğ Kutsel was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Kubilay Doğangün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KAFKASYA FK's Göktuğ Kutsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Kılıçer in the 14th minute of play. KAFKASYA FK's Hilmi Şahap got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kubilay Doğangün got free with Göktuğ Kutsel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21stth minute of the game Kubilay Doğangün who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAFKASYA FK's Göktuğ Kutsel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Seyrani Oylum fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kozan FK's protests and gave Seyrani Oylum a yellow card for diving instead. Seyrani Oylum hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kozan FK's goalkeeper Aktaç Hisar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Kubilay Doğangün had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göktuğ Kutsel. KAFKASYA FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kubilay Doğangün was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After having played for 30 minutes, Macit Özbekkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAFKASYA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Macit Özbekkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilmi Şahap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Hilmi Şahap managed to get in a good position for a shot. KAFKASYA FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hilmi Şahap was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aktaç Hisar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hilmi Şahap in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aktaç Hisar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Göktuğ Kutsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raşit Kılıçer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilmi Şahap was the one to do the kick off. Raşit Kılıçer might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göktuğ Kutsel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raşit Kılıçer ran back to his position shaking his head. KAFKASYA FK's Göktuğ Kutsel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Kılıçer in the 56th minute of play. If Kubilay Doğangün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes of play, Kozan FK's Kubilay Doğangün made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göktuğ Kutsel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 66 minutes, Şener Ogün managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAFKASYA FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şener Ogün was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, Seyrani Oylum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Kozan FK booed when KAFKASYA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüce Umurbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kozan FK's Aktaç Hisar got control of the ball when Şener Ogün tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the KAFKASYA FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kozan FK.
