Murat Askeroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Nedim Tolun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahsun Songur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 minutes, Baran Bilge İsmail mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kuluncak SK and the Gömec SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Kuluncak SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baran Bilge İsmail to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gömec SK booed when Kuluncak SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Korkut Seralp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Mümin Akartürk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gömec SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mümin Akartürk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Metin Temizöz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nedim Tolun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the match, Kuluncak SK's Nedim Tolun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mahsun Songur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Murat Askeroğlu spun around in front of the goal 32 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Gömec SK's goal. Mümin Akartürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Metin Temizöz having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Gömec SK's Mümin Akartürk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Metin Temizöz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gömec SK's Mahsun Songur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Askeroğlu in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nedim Tolun made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, one of Gömec SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nedim Tolun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murat Askeroğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahsun Songur having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Kuluncak SK's Nedim Tolun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mahsun Songur. Mahsun Songur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Tolun in the 72nd minute of play forced Gömec SK's goalkeeper Mahsun Songur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutluay Erakıncı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Metin Temizöz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mümin Akartürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kuluncak SK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mustafa Baytüze hit a great ball. If Murat Askeroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kuluncak SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kuluncak SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
