Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) GÖZTEPE's Cüneyt Usalan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GÖZTEPE's Erim Mesut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nejat Alp Sertaç in the 3rd minute of play. Nejat Alp Sertaç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erim Mesut having to interfere. Erim Mesut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kahraman Savtekin went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cüneyt Usalan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Nejat Alp Sertaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Necmi Durkaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gargi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GÖZTEPE the free kick. In the 21st minute of the match Orçun Ayazoğlu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bumin Atılay skillfully saved the ball. When Kahraman Savtekin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gargi's protests and gave Kahraman Savtekin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of GÖZTEPE booed when Gargi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kahraman Savtekin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyt Usalan struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bumin Atılay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GÖZTEPE. GÖZTEPE's Cüneyt Usalan got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Kağan Kolçak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bumin Atılay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Çağdaş Afacan scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bumin Atılay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nejat Alp Sertaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Erim Mesut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kahraman Savtekin to strike the kick off in the second half. Nejat Alp Sertaç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Kahraman Savtekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Nejat Alp Sertaç came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gargi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nejat Alp Sertaç couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, GÖZTEPE's goalkeeper Erim Mesut had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nejat Alp Sertaç. 77 minutes into the match, Gargi's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Afacan came free, but Bumin Atılay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nejat Alp Sertaç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Seçkin Okaner in the 84th minute really tested Erim Mesut's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hayri Ersavaş kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Gargi booed when GÖZTEPE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baturhan Toygar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GÖZTEPE had won after a very even match.
