After 4 played minutes, Liverpool FC's Serdar Ayberk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinçer Sufi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liverpool FC reached it. After 5 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Metehan Balatekin. In the 7th minute, Selmi Cenker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Ali Hüsrev. The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Yomra's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Toralp came free, but Dinçer Sufi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinçer Sufi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Balatekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Selmi Cenker came free, but Mehmet Ali Hüsrev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Göktuğ Akyol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metehan Balatekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dinçer Sufi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Göktuğ Akyol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Yomra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Göktuğ Akyol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Yomra's Ahmet Göktuğ Akyol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mehmet Ali Hüsrev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Adil Toralp made the kick off in the second half. Dinçer Sufi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Toralp in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Metehan Balatekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yomra the free kick. After 53 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Metehan Balatekin. Yasin Tuğcu's late challenge caught a Yomra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yasin Tuğcu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Yasin Tuğcu hit a great ball. Emrullah Yenisey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Mehmet Ali Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Göktuğ Akyol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Ali Hüsrev having to interfere. Emrullah Yenisey charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emrullah Yenisey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Yomra got a freekick which was hit by Emrullah Yenisey. In the 64th minute, Adil Toralp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yiğit Zakir during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adil Toralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinçer Sufi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 79th minute Selmi Cenker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Ali Hüsrev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yiğit Zakir got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Yomra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yiğit Zakir didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Metehan Balatekin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Yomra's Dinçer Sufi got control of the ball when Adil Toralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Adil Toralp slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinçer Sufi. That made the score 2-2 after 89 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
