Fadıl Hacıağa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Talat Ruknettin in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Talat Ruknettin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Nuh Irgat put in a rough tackle. In the 93rd minute, one of Karaköy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karaköy. Karaköy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
