After having played for 3 minutes, Şemsettin Ekber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kursunlu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şemsettin Ekber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Mustafa Ekrem Temizkal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emrullah Sarp. Mustafa Ekrem Temizkal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emrullah Sarp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şemsettin Ekber in the 10th minute of the match. İdris Günay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feridun Ünan having to interfere. İdris Günay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Feridun Ünan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emrullah Sarp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efekan Akçasu in the 21st minute. Mustafa Ekrem Temizkal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Emrullah Sarp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kursunlu. İdris Günay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feridun Ünan having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Ali Atıf Teoman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ilgaz Özerhan fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored halo fk's protests and gave Ilgaz Özerhan a yellow card for diving instead. Ilgaz Özerhan hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes halo fk got a freekick which was hit by Ertuğrul Özerdal. When Efekan Akçasu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Kursunlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efekan Akçasu couldn't finish the play. İdris Günay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feridun Ünan having to interfere. Emrullah Sarp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şemsettin Ekber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in halo fk's zone, Şemsettin Ekber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emrullah Sarp came out of the goal and Şemsettin Ekber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şemsettin Ekber to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Kursunlu's Şemsettin Ekber made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emrullah Sarp was left in no man's land by his defense there! halo fk's Emrullah Sarp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efekan Akçasu in the 60th minute of play. Mustafa Ekrem Temizkal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Kursunlu's Feridun Ünan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Atıf Teoman in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, halo fk's goal looked a bit too open when Şemsettin Ekber came free, but Emrullah Sarp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kursunlu's zone, İdris Günay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feridun Ünan came out of the goal and İdris Günay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efekan Akçasu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Emrullah Sarp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kursunlu. After 90 minutes of play, Kursunlu's Selçuk Çelikoz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emrullah Sarp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tolga Saykal hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naci Bilgin in the 96th minute of play forced halo fk's goalkeeper Emrullah Sarp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kursunlu booed when halo fk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilgaz Özerhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kursunlu fully deserved thier win.
