Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) İlhan Oğuzcan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Paşa Ali Kırca's late challenge caught a Lion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paşa Ali Kırca helped the player get up and apologised. Gökberk Kuman came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Esentepe FK's Ali Faruk Reşat. But to his dismay, Ali Faruk Reşat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Cevat Nazım left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lion fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Lion's Acun Yazganalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İlyas Adsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Tevfik Kotuz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esentepe FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lion the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Esentepe FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tevfik Kotuz to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lion's goalkeeper Gökberk Kuman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Esentepe FK got a freekick which was hit by Korkutalp Ocak. When Lion's Cevat Nazım in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esentepe FK's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Esentepe FK's goal looked a bit too open when Cevat Nazım came free, but İlyas Adsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lion's zone, İlhan Oğuzcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökberk Kuman came out of the goal and İlhan Oğuzcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kutay Ökten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gökberk Kuman. Lion's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cevat Nazım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Cevat Nazım made the kick off in the second half. İlyas Adsoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cevat Nazım in the 53rd minute of the match. Gökberk Kuman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Faruk Reşat's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes of play Esentepe FK's Paşa Ali Kırca was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Paşa Ali Kırca hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 67thth minute of the game Cevat Nazım who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esentepe FK's İlyas Adsoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cevat Nazım sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cevat Nazıms short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got İlyas Adsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Cevat Nazım had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When İlhan Oğuzcan fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esentepe FK's protests and gave İlhan Oğuzcan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Esentepe FK's İlhan Oğuzcan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Gökberk Kuman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhan Oğuzcan in the 94th minute of play. Cevat Nazım's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, İlyas Adsoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lion's Cevat Nazım was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 97th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Esentepe FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lion were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
