After 39 minutes of play, SİMAV BOZKURTLARI's Soner Kenan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Halit Fahri Beyhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, İbrahim Ünlem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Barış Makbul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halit Fahri Beyhan having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şamil Uçkun to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Şamil Uçkun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Can Güleryüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halit Fahri Beyhan made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Soner Kenan sent off a good shot on target. Ordu's Atıf Işınbay got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the SİMAV BOZKURTLARI defense, Atıf Işınbay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Can Güleryüz. The SİMAV BOZKURTLARI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Can Güleryüz should have stopped the shot. The SİMAV BOZKURTLARI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
