The supporters of AS Roma booed when Sultanahmet SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deniz Uzhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mümin Bağış might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurbey Bengi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mümin Bağış ran back to his position shaking his head. Songurbey Bengi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güral Kargin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Mümin Bağış sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökay Rusuhi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. If Mümin Bağış had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 23 in the game by Mümin Bağış from a close distance when the talented Songurbey Bengi managed to make a qualified save. AS Roma's players were relieved. With his leg Songurbey Bengi managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Sultanahmet SK's Mümin Bağış fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Güral Kargin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Songurbey Bengi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güral Kargin in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mümin Bağış managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sultanahmet SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mümin Bağış was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Songurbey Bengi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Savaşer Öztunç to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Sultanahmet SK's goalkeeper Anıl Ozan Uluant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feyyaz Suni. Gökay Rusuhi hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mümin Bağış struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Songurbey Bengi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sultanahmet SK. Güral Kargin might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Songurbey Bengi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Güral Kargin ran back to his position shaking his head. Sultanahmet SK's Anıl Ozan Uluant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savaşer Öztunç in the 67th minute of play. Anıl Ozan Uluant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alpay Ökmen in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Sultanahmet SK's goal looked a bit too open when Birkan Yalçıner came free, but Anıl Ozan Uluant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mümin Bağış came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Sultanahmet SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mümin Bağış couldn't finish the play. Güral Kargin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Güral Kargin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 80th minute when Güral Kargin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Sultanahmet SK's Mümin Bağış in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AS Roma's goalie prevented a goal. Anıl Ozan Uluant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feyyaz Suni in the 93rd minute.
