When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Selçuk Oray took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ali Asım Sadun to make any attempt to save it. 11 minutes into the match, Senpiyer's goalkeeper Ali Asım Sadun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emin Kuray. Emin Kuray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sadettin Ergener in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Asım Sadun saved Senpiyer from getting behind. In the 27th minute, one of Senpiyer:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Senpiyer. Cemil Derelioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zühtü Dağasan in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Selçuk Oray tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ali Asım Sadun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

54 minutes into the game, spartacus's Emin Kuray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Asım Sadun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Sadettin Ergener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Asım Sadun having to interfere. If Emin Kuray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Kasım Rakim put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Senpiyer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of spartacus:s goal. Alican Soyurgal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 64th match minute, Senpiyer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Özkul to maneuver through the defense. Ali Asım Sadun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sadettin Ergener in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute Emin Kuray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Asım Sadun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Selçuk Oray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the game, Sadettin Ergener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ali Asım Sadun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emin Kuray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ali Asım Sadun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Senpiyer getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Nadir Özkul hit a great ball. In the 99th minute, Sadettin Ergener got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
