After having played for 6 minutes, Vecdi Togay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cibali FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vecdi Togay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Beykan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cibali FK's Nuratay Yadigar. But to his dismay, Nuratay Yadigar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Aytaç Canfeda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tayyip Tuğlu, 1-1. With a little luck, Cibali FK's Tayyip Tuğlu got control of the ball when Abdurrahman Bayındır tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tayyip Tuğlu was a little too slow when Aytaç Canfeda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 22 minutes, Abdurrahman Bayındır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aytekin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdurrahman Bayındır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aytaç Canfeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Kutlualp Sina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cibali FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aytekin the free kick. In the 25th minute, Kutlualp Sina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aytaç Canfeda might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tayyip Tuğlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aytaç Canfeda ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdurrahman Bayındır struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Tayyip Tuğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aytekin. Cibali FK's Tayyip Tuğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aytaç Canfeda in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Aytaç Canfeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tayyip Tuğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdurrahman Bayındır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyip Tuğlu having to interfere. Abdurrahman Bayındır sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aytaç Canfeda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tayyip Tuğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Cibali FK's goal looked a bit too open when Aytaç Canfeda came free, but Tayyip Tuğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aytaç Canfeda made a kick off. After 54 minutes Cibali FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rüştü Baydar who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Aytekin's corner Rüştü Baydar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tayyip Tuğlu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 55th match minute, Cibali FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vecdi Togay to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 59 minutes, Abdurrahman Bayındır managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aytekin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdurrahman Bayındır was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tayyip Tuğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aytaç Canfeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tayyip Tuğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aytaç Canfeda in the 62nd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, one of Cibali FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nuratay Yadigar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Beykan came out and tried to block the shot, but Nuratay Yadigar slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 74th minute. Tayyip Tuğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdurrahman Bayındır, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cibali FK's Arslan Cömert got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aytaç Canfeda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tayyip Tuğlu having to interfere. The Cibali FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Aytekin from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
